The Hall County Tax Assessors’ Office will mail this year’s property assessments Monday.
Due to the passing of recent state legislation, a property tax reform law that changes how local governments calculate and communicate ad valorem property taxes, this year’s Notice of Assessments will look different than years prior.
They will no longer include estimated tax amounts; however, tax savings estimates will be included. To estimate property taxes, use the tools and resources available online at qPublic.net. If you have questions, contact the tax assessors office.
If you have not received your notice within a reasonable amount of time, you may do one of the following:
- Go online to qPublic Hall County, locate your property, scroll to the bottom of the page and select 2026 Assessment Notice (PDF) to access your 2026 Notice of Assessment.
- Contact the Tax Assessors’ Office at 770-531-6720 to ensure the correct mailing address is on file.
- Go online to qPublic Hall County and select “Change of Address” if your address has changed.
Property owners will have 45 days from the date of the notice to file an appeal online at qPublic Hall County, by mail or in person. Appeal information, interactive appeal forms and FAQs can be found on the Tax Assessors’ Office page online at www.hallcounty.org.
The tax assessors office can be reached by e-mail at [email protected], by phone at 770-531-6720, or in person at the Hall County Government Center.
