Hall County Animal Shelter officials say they are running out of space for cats and large dogs, with only a few kennels left. Intakes have been coming in quickly, they say, and there’s an urgent need for adopters, fosters and rescue groups to step up immediately.
Over the past week, more than 75 animals have entered the shelter while only nine have been adopted. As of Saturday, ten dogs remained in urgent need of homes.
Adoptions are available without appointment Tuesday through Saturday 9:00-4:00. Fostering, even short‑term, is encouraged to help ease overcrowding. Rescue partners are also being asked to provide support.
