Claims for unemployment insurance in Hall County were down in July compared to June and July a year ago.
The state Department of Labor (GDOL) says they decreased 9.7% over last July. The year-to-year number was 6.3%.
Statewide, applications were up in July compared to June and down compared to July 2025.
