A widespread area of showers and storms will move into north Georgia late Tuesday evening through early Wednesday morning, according to the weather service. A few storms may be strong to severe, capable of producing damaging wind gusts, large hail, and a brief tornado.
The most severe weather will likely be confined to an area along and northwest of a line from Blairsville to Jasper to Carrollton.
For the rest of us, the forecast calls for less severe weather but the potential for a few storms is still there.
