UPDATE: 20 more counties designated Primary Natural Disaster Areas

The Georgia Department of Agriculture and the federal Department of Agriculture announced Thursday that 20 additional Georgia counties, including three in northeast Georgia, have been designated as Primary Natural Disaster Areas due to ongoing drought conditions.

They are Butts, Chattooga, Clayton, Coweta, Dade, Dawson, DeKalb, Fayette, Fulton, Gordon, Habersham, Henry, Jasper, Newton, Pickens, Pike, Putnam, Rabun, Rockdale, and Spalding.
