Former four-term Dahlonega mayor
Theron Haines Hill, 91, of Gainesville and formerly of Dahlonega has died.
Haines was an Army veteran and graduate of what is now the University of North Georgia. He also served on the faculty of the school.
In addition to four terms as mayor, Haines served the Dahlonega area in a number of other areas, and the state as well.
A celebration of life will beheld at 11:30 July 12 at Dahlonega United Methodist Church
