*A nonprofit in south Georgia is losing a large contract due to federal cuts made by the federal Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Mana Nutrition reports that it will be losing around $12 million in contracts due to cuts made in the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The AJC says the organization was able to make peanut butter-based food for starving children, at a rate of 300,000-a-year. Mana still has more than $20 million in contracts through USAID that could be in danger. *The title of busiest airport in the world is coming back to Atlanta. More than 108 million passengers passed through Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in 2024. That’s the second-most in Atlanta’s history, which is barely under the record total from 2019. Last year’s numbers at ATL were three percent above 2023.
