Some Gainesville pilots are among the many private citizens who have jumped in this week to help those in need in the Carolinas.

“We are taking donations at all hours of the day and flying them to NC within 12 hours of drop off to (churches) and firefighters we have on the ground in NC.
Please call or text if you have supplies to donate. We will meet you at our hangar at the Gainesville airport. 770-653-5410.
We have two fights each day for the next three days and two planes at the ready with more planes and pilots waiting to move supplies.”
