HCSO: 2 more arrests in April drug case

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is reporting two more arrests in connection with a drug bust last month that netted almost$30,000 worth of illegal drugs. The sheriff’s office announced the arrests, which brings the number charged in the case to three, on Thursday.

HCSO NARRATIVE:

“(Jessica) Spencer, 33, of Gainesville, turned herself in at the Hall County Jail on Monday, May 1, on a warrant for felony possession of methamphetamine.

She was found in possession of a half-gram of meth on April 18 at a residence on Wildwood Circle.

A third suspect in the case, identified as Jeffery Shane Black, 51, of Gainesville, turned himself in at the Hall County Jail on Wednesday, April 24, on a warrant for felony possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. He was found in possession of 21 grams of meth on April 18 at the same residence on Wildwood Road.”

The third person charged in the case, Jason Alexander, 39, was arrested the day of the raid.
