Though county officials had not returned a request as of Wednesday morning for an update on the rescue of nearly 100 animals from Hall County residence last Friday, county jail records show two people being held on 88 animal cruelty charges.
The inmate roster early Wednesday showed that Eric Blane Autry, 56, and Lynn Marie Jones, 59, were being held on bonds totaling $211,200 each.
But it does not offer any details about the case that led to their arrests, and none will probably be available until Friday at the earliest when local government administrative offices reopen after the holidays.
So there’s no way of knowing whether it’s tied to last Friday’s operation.
