A 32-year-old Gainesville man escaped injury Saturday night when his SUV left Baker Road and struck a utility pole, the state patrol said Sunday.
The crash which happened about 9:30 near Candler Road closed Baker Road and knocked out power in the area for a time.
Troopers say Debel Dario Lucas Icalchaman’s vehicle left the road in a curve before hitting the pole.
