This is going to be another day of triple-digit heat indexes statewide with the actual temperature reaching triple-digits in some places.
Another Heat Advisory is in place for counties adjacent to Hall to the southeast – Barrow, Jackson and Banks. They are on the leading northwest edge of the affected areas covered by the posting – virtually the remainder of the state.
It’s still looking like that all week with no break until next weekend when there’s a 60-70 percent chance of rain and a dramatic drop in temperatures but that’s seven days down the road and subject to change.
