Tiny NE Ga. town gets national exposure

Tiny Tiger, Georgia, population 422 and nestled in the northeast corner of the state, got some national exposure Thursday.

An ESPN Sugar Bowl pre-game show featured a video look at University of Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton, who was about to make his first collegiate start against Notre Dame in a College Football Playoff semi-final. Stockton had been pressed into service following an injury to starter Carson Beck in the recent SEC Championship game.

The piece included a look at Stockton’s record-setting high school football career with the Rabun County High School Wildcats and interviews with friends and former coaches.
