Georgia election officials plan to cull about 455,000 names of inactive voters from voter registration rolls, the AJC reports.
State Elections Director Blake Evans told the newspaper the size of this year’s planned registration removal Electronic Registration Information Cente works.
He said most of the names belong to people who have apparently moved either by filling out change-of-address forms, registering to vote in another state or getting a driver’s license in another state.
