According to a list compiled by GOBankingRates, the “richest county” in Georgia is Forsyth, which has a median household income of $116,571. Not only is Forsyth the richest county in the state, but it ranks No. 8 nationwide, making it one of the wealthiest counties overall.

That was down slightly from the 2020 figure: $71,186.”
