Two 19-year-olds were arrested recently after police say they were caught racing on a Gainesville street.
It happened last Saturday, officers reported this week. But not in the middle of the night as you might imagine and not one of the city’s wider and more accommodating thoroughfares but on historic Green Street. And not in the middle of the night. But at 2:00 in the afternoon.
Eduardo Alba and Bryan Hernandez were each charged with Racing on Highways or Streets.
