Acting on a tip, White County authorities Thursday ended up arresting a White County man for probation violation and a Habersham County man on drug trafficking and distribution charges.
WHITE CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE (WCSO) NEWS RELEASE:
“(The sheriff’s office) received information that a subject named Dustin Shane Turner (37) of Sautee (was wanted) for Violation of Probation.
Investigators and Deputies planned a warrant service operation to apprehend Mr. Turner. When Mr. Turner arrived, he was taken into custody.
While taking Mr. Turner into custody, Investigators also made contact with Jonathan Luke Norton (37) of Alto…who was found to be in possession of approximately 34 grams of methamphetamine. Mr. Norton was charged with the following:
Trafficking Methamphetamine
Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Distribute Possession of Drug Related Objects
Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance”
