A Frost Advisory has been issued for Hall and some adjacent counties overnight tonight until 10:00 Friday morning.
Temperatures in the affected areas tonight are expected to dip as low as 27 in some places (34 in Gainesville). And the National Weather Service (NWS) says now is the time to protect tender vegetation by covering it or bring plants indoors.
The affected area also includes parts of metro Atlanta and includes counties along and southeast of a line from Gainesville to LaGrange to Columbus and as far east as Dublin. In parts of west central and northwest Georgia, a Frost Warning is in place.
