HALL CO. FIRE RESCUE (HCFR) NARRATIVE:
“(About 2:30 Wednesday afternoon), Hall County Fire Rescue was dispatched to the 2400 block of Webb Girth Road in Gainesville for reports of a residential fire.
Engine 9 arrived first on scene and discovered a single-story residence with an active fire toward the back of the home. Crews extinguished the flames quickly from the exterior. The primary search was all clear and all occupants exited the structure prior to HCFR arrival.
The bulk of the fire was contained to the back porch and was prevented from damaging the rest of the residence.
The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.”
