Officials at North Hall High School (NHHS) announced late Wednesday that they received information “indicating” that a student had made threatening comments toward the school.
“The student has been turned over to law enforcement and appropriate disciplinary action has been taken,” a Facebook post reads. “No weapons were involved.”
It goes on to say “We at North Hall High School and the HCSD (Hall County School District) take these matters seriously. Every threat will be thoroughly investigated, and students will be held accountable per the HCSD code of conduct.”
It’s the latest in a number of such incidents in Hall County and elsewhere in the area that have been investigated since the Barrow County school shooting a week ago.
