The Gainesville-based North Georgia Community Foundation’s (NGCF) scholarship program recently set a new record.
Officials say 306 scholarships totaling $743,649 were awarded. There were 1,500 applications for scholarships.
NGCF also has three grant programs and during the most recent cycle one of them, The Community Grant, awarded more than $429,000 to 46 non-profits.
