A survey taken recently by the Gainesville Housing Authority (GHA) found the need for more public transportation at the top of the “needs” list of those who answered a questionnaire.
At the Resiliency Extravaganza and Housing Festival GHA shared info about Gainesville Housing and got input on the community’s most needed things.
Here’s how the vote went:
- Additional public transportation……….8 votes
- More affordable housing units…….…….7 votes
- Mental health access…………………….….4 votes
- Playgrounds……………………….…………….4 votes
- Greenspace………………………………….……4 votes
- Additional senior Hhousing units………3 votes
- Community center…………………………….2 votes
- Community gardening opportunities..2 votes
