More apple juice recalled

An earlier recall of apple juice has been expanded and now includes products at several retailers around the country, including Georgia.

In the latest instance, Refresco Beverages Inc. has issued a recall of 133,500 cases of apple juice after the products were found to be contaminated with arsenic slightly above U.S. Food and Drug Administration recommended levels.

In late August, Walmart pulled more than 9,500 cases of apple juice from its shelves after it tested positive for increased arsenic levels. Walmart apple juice recall (wgtjradio.com)
