Temperatures through the month of March in the area covered by the weather service’s Peachtree City Office, including Gainesville and surrounding areas, were 6-7 degrees above normal and precipitation 1-2 below normal.
As for Gainesville itself, data collected at the airport shows temperatures here averaged 7.4 degrees above normal and precipitation was 2.17 inches below normal.
