The level of Lake Lanier continued to increase over the past week despite the drought that has its grip on Georgia. The lake stood at 1066.0 Thursday morning. Just three months ago, it was 1064.6.
The drought, meanwhile, shows little change over the past seven days. But the area considered “extremely” dry expanded a bit.
