Jackson EMC has opened the nominating process for board of directors’ members for the new year.
This year board members representing Gwinnett, Jackson and Hall/Lumpkin counties will be elected at the electric co-op’s annual meeting in September.
Candidates may be nominated by the board’s nominating committee or by a petition that is signed by 50 or more Jackson EMC members (customers). Nominations must be submitted to Jackson EMC corporate office in Jefferson not more than 200 days and not less than 150 days prior to the annual meeting.
