An accident at his own home has taken the life of a Jackson County man.
The county sheriff’s office said in a social media post Friday that Stephen Carson, 44, was electrocuted Tuesday when the truck he was in came in contact with power lines. It happened on Mary Collier Road.
The sheriff’s office says Carson was removing a structure from a trailer with a truck when the accident happened.
