A hit-and-run driver remained at large Tuesday morning following a weekend accident in South Hall that left a woman with serious injuries.

“Hall County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a hit and run vehicle crash at the intersection of Thurmon Tanner Parkway and Mathis Drive at approximately 5:10 a.m. on Sunday…
The driver of the victim vehicle, Kimberly Jungsue Faas, 55, of Flowery Branch, suffered serious injuries in the collision. Hall County Fire Rescue transported her to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville for treatment.
According to the initial investigation, Faas was driving east on Thurmon Tanner Parkway in a 2016 BMW X3. The unknown suspect vehicle was westbound on Thurmon Tanner Parkway and made a U-turn at Mathis Drive, colliding with Faas’ SUV. The suspect driver backed up from the crash and left the scene, continuing west on Thurmon Tanner Parkway.
The HCSO Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the wreck. The suspect driver and vehicle have not currently been identified.”
