HCSO NARRATIVE:
“Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) investigators have charged a Gainesville man with child molestation (felony) following an incident west of Gainesville last summer.
Investigators obtained a warrant for Christopher Michael Davis’ arrest on Thursday, July 24. He turned himself in at the Hall County Jail on Tuesday afternoon, July 29.
HCSO Investigators began work on the case on May 30, after a referral from the Gainesville Police Department, who determined the crime happened in unincorporated Hall County.
According to the initial investigation, the molestation occurred at a residence during August of 2024. Davis, 36, knew the victim, who is under the age of 16, prior to the incident.
HCSO continues to investigate the case. Davis is being held without bond.“
