HCSO NARRATIVE:
“An investigation is underway after officials with the Town of Clermont called the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) to report graffiti damage to the old Town Hall building and a playground on King Street.
HCSO deputies responded to the downtown Clermont area just before 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 13. They learned someone had used black spray paint to vandalize the side of the building and pieces of playground equipment. Estimated damage to the government property was placed at around $3,000.
The case has been turned over to HCSO property crimes investigators.”
