Hall TSPLOST vote a step closer to reality

Gov. Brian Kemp Tuesday signed a bill that moves a Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (TSPLOST) referendum in Hall County closer to reality.

Local officials said at the time of the bill’s passage by the state legislature earlier this year they hope to put the question to the voters in November.

The bill was among several signed by Kemp Tuesday, the last day for him to act on bills approved during this year’s legislative session.
