A Hall County school was on a brief lockdown Tuesday.
“Police were looking for an individual in the area,” school district spokesman Stan Lewis said of the incident Sandra Deal Elementary. “Out of precaution, we kept everyone inside.”
“There was no one suspicious actually on the school property or in the vicinity,” sheriff’s office spokeswoman B.J. Williams said. “A school staff member was having a phone conversation with a parent who made a comment that raised concerns. An SRO (School Resource Officer) made contact with the parent and resolved the issue.”
