Hall Co.: State of the County

Hall County Government has released its 2024 State of the County video, providing an overview of the county projects and initiatives.

HALL COUNTY GOVERNMENT NEWS RELEASE:

“The County is in a great place as we keep moving into 2024,” Hall County Board of Commissioners Chairman Richard Higgins said. “As Chairman, I can say that from internal staff and leadership to the growth and development of the County, we as a Board are proud to serve and pay witness to the organization’s accomplishments in service to our community.”

The State of the County video highlights several Hall County departments, including Parks and Leisure, Public Works (transportation and infrastructure), Planning and Development, Animal Services, Public Safety, Courts and Administration (communications).

A few of the major projects discussed include:

  • Renovations and the construction of a new building on the Hall County Health Department campus
  • The Spout Springs Road widening project
  • The McEver Road and Lights Ferry Road Roundabout
  • The Sardis Road Connector project
  • The realignment of White Sulphur Road and Cagle Road improvement projects
  • The Road Resurfacing Program and interactive map
  • The groundbreaking of Fire Station 17 in Buford
  • and added security measures at the Hall County Courthouse

“It has undoubtedly been a busy year for Hall County Government, and it will continue at that same rate well into the future,” Hall County Administrator Zach Propes said. “As we maintain our high level of service to citizens, we will continue with our same approach and strive to set the standard for excellent local government services.”
