Habitat for Humanity of Hall County will welcome fall this year with three events.
Community Build is new this year and will be held Oct. 5 8:30-noon in honor of former President Jimmy Carter’s 40-year commitment to “building hope with Habitat,” according to the organization.
Beginning with breakfast, Community Build will also feature a panel conversation “discussing the impact homeownership makes on health, security and business in our community. Then, partnering with The Arts Council and Gainesville High School, we’ll pick up our hammers to build together.”
Also on tap in October is Habitat’s annual golf tournament fundraiser. The date this year is Oct. 7.
And another annual event is Latino Fest Gainesville, set for Sept. 28, on the Midland Greenway.
