Gas prices moved up the past week in Gainesville and the state as a whole.
The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded has increased four cents in Gainesville from what it was last Monday to $2.88. Statewide, the average increased a penny to $2.91.
But the national average is a penny cheaper: $3.03.
