A 67-year-old man was killed Sunday when a pickup he was working on fell on him in the 3200 block of Hall Drive. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) learned of the accident when deputies responded to a cardiac arrest call at that location about 10:45 Sunday night.
A family member of the victim led deputies to Pedro Mosqueda, who was lying under the vehicle that had fallen on his chest. Deputies checked for a pulse and breathing, but the man was unresponsive. Hall County Fire Rescue arrived, checked the victim and could find no signs of life.
According to initial details, Mosqueda had been working on his truck throughout the day. A family member went outside to check on him, approximately an hour after last seeing him, found him under the truck and called 911.
