*A gun ordinance in Savannah is being deemed unconstitutional. A Chatham County judge ruled yesterday the code could not be enforceable because it interferes with state rights. WSAV reports just over 40 citations violating the ordinance have been handed out since it was first enforced just over a year ago. Attorney General Chris Carr called it a major victory for law-abiding gun owners.
*Augusta National Golf Club is looking for workers at golf’s first major of the year. The Masters Tournament is taking applications through December 1st for next year’s event in April. There will also be a public information session this afternoon from three-to-six at the HUB for Community Innovation on Chafee Street.
*Turkey prices will be up 40 percent this Thanksgiving season over last year, largely due to bird flu. The Georgia Farm Bureau reports there were more than 600-thousand cases in September and expects that number to grow. As of now, that means turkey will cost an average of a dollar-32 a pound, up 38 cents from last year.
