GEORGIA STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:
“On October 3, 2023, at approximately 7:22 a.m., Troopers responded to a crash on SR-60 at Guy Cooper Rd in Jackson County.
The investigation revealed that a 2020 F-150 was traveling north on SR-60 while turning left onto Guy Cooper Rd. A 2001 Triumph motorcycle was traveling south on SR-60.
The F-150 failed to yield causing a crash. The driver of the motorcycle succumbed to his injuries on scene. Troop B SCRT. Next of kin has not been currently (2:00 p.m. Wednesday) notified.”
