GoFund account established for some victims of mobile home park fire

THE FACEBOOK POST ANNOUNCING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE ACCOUNT READS:

“I feel absolutely sick to my stomach. Last night, my in-laws lost everything when their home burned to the ground. I can’t even imagine the pain of standing there, watching your entire life go up in flames.

I am beyond grateful that they made it out safely, but now they have to start over from nothing. They need everything—clothes, furniture, essentials—just the basics to begin rebuilding their lives.

UPDATE: Right now, we have found them beds and bedroom furniture to stay with us but they will still need personal items and tvs! **
Their sizes are below:
• Small adult: shirts, sweats, and shorts
• Men: large & XL shirts
• Women: XL shirts, sweats, and leggings

Please pray for them, for us, and for the families in the homes next to them. If you can help in any way—whether by donating, sharing, or just sending love—we would be forever grateful.

I’ll post the donation link below. Thank you for anything you can do. 🩵 you can also donate directly vis cashapp, Zelle, etc.”

(EDITOR’S NOTE: Late Wednesday night, 16 donations totaling $1,450 had been received. See separate story for more details, including what the Hall County fire marshal says started the fire. The blaze destroyed two mobile homes and damaged four others and several vehicles. Nine people were left homeless.)
