GHSA approves NIL deals for high school athletes

The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Monday voted to allow NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) deals for high school student-athletes. Georgia becomes the 30th state to approve them for high schoolers.

However, athletes will not be allowed to link their deals to specific achievements or performances, and they will not be allowed to use their school’s name, logos, uniforms or any other property.
