A contract has been awarded for the resurfacing of three miles of U.S. 129 in Hall County.
The work will begin north of Georgia 323 and extend to the bridge over I-985/Ga. 365. The contract calls for the $2.1 million project to be finished by the end of next October.
The Habersham project, which includes some work in Stephens County, is for nine miles of resurfacing on Georgia 17 Alternate beginning at Broad Street and extending south to Georgia 14/U.S. 441.
It’s a $4.8 million project is also scheduled for completion by the end of next October.
