The U.S. Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against Georgia for not providing unredacted voter records as requested. Fox 5 Atlanta reports voting rights organizations have intervened, arguing that releasing nonpublic voter data could lead to voter targeting. A hearing is scheduled for January 29 before U.S. District Judge in Macon.
