FORSYTH CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE (FCSO) NARRATIVE:

“On March 28th at 1:00 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Atlanta Highway near Strickland Road after they witnessed a truck fail to maintain its lane then run a traffic light.
While deputies were conducting their roadside investigation, a call was made to have a K9 team respond. K9 Goose alerted on the car and deputies found “there were indeed drugs in it,” 17.1 ounces of methamphetamine, along with digital scales, packaging materials and a meth pipe.
The driver, 51-year-old Robert Lee of Roswell, was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of of Drug Related Objects, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device. The passenger, 43-year-old Patricia Burt of Dawsonville, was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Related Objects. Both were taken to the Forsyth County Jail, where they are being held without bond.”
