A mid-day accident Sunday on Roy Parks Road left the driver of the only vehicle involved with minor injuries after it overturned into some trees. Azael Ernesto Guzman is facing DUI and related charges.
HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE (HCSO) NARRATIVE:
“Mr. Guzman was traveling northbound on Roy Parks Road towards Athens Highway when he left the roadway for an unknown reason, traveling off the shoulder of the road, striking a culvert and a mailbox.
The vehicle rolled after impact, coming to rest after striking some trees.
Mr. Guzman suffered minor injuries to his head and neck.
He was cited for speeding, failure to maintain lane, reckless driving, misdemeanor marijuana possession and DUI-drugs…”
