More than 1,000 pounds of meth were seized and five Mexican nationals arrested during recent drug raids on two residences in DeKalb County.
The Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) Atlanta Division also said at a Monday news conference that the drugs and the suspects are linked to the Mexican cartel Jalisco New Generation.
During the investigation two kilos of meth were reportedly sold to undercover DEA agents. Additionally, 10 kilos were confiscated from a vehicle, along with approximately 131 kilos, a firearm, and $12,000 in cash found at one of the residences.
