FORSYTH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE:
“On December 12, 2023, at approximately 3:20pm, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department responded to Windermere Parkway for a single vehicle crash. The initial investigation revealed a 2011 Honda Accord was traveling southwest on Windermere Parkway near Osterly Way.
The driver, 28-year-old Kelsey Duttenhofer of Cumming, failed to negotiate the curve in the roadway. The Accord left the roadway and struck a fence and a tree. Ms. Duttenhofer, who was not wearing her seatbelt, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The case remains under investigation, however, speed will be a contributing factor.”
