HCFR NEWS RELEASE:
“At approximately 7:40 p.m., on Thursday…Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR) responded to the 5600 block of Grand Reunion Dr. in Hoschton for reports of a residential fire.
First arriving units discovered a small two-
story residence with fire located on the front porch.
The flames on the porch were extinguished very quickly, and all occupants were not on scene at the time of the fire.
The Fire Marshal’s Office performed a formal investigation at the scene and determined the cause to be ‘incendiary.’
HCFR’s Accelerant Detection Canine, Officer Apollo, also alerted at the scene that an accelerant was used. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office arrested one suspect in the case.”
