Gainesville Police report an arrest in connection with an Aug. 24 attempted robbery in which a woman reported being accosted by gun-toting individuals on Myrtle Street and shots were fired.
Yexon Javier Garcia Villalta, 20, was arrested earlier this week and lodged in the Hall County Jail. He was freed on $11,400 bond Thursday afternoon, according to a Hall County Sheriff’s Office spokesman.
EARLIER STORY. POSTED AUG. 26: Saturday afternoon, a (woman) reported she was approached by a dark truck with multiple occupants in the 800 block of Myrtle Street. A tussle ensued and warning shots were fired by the perpetrators. The group then left in the vehicle (without taking anything from the victim).
