*A 31-year-old Cobb County postal employee, Adrienne Braziel, is accused of taking AT&T rewards cards between September and now. The USPS Office of Inspector General received complaints from residents about missing rewards and discovered they were all on Braziel’s route. Fox 5 Atlanta reports surveillance footage shows Braziel using the stolen cards. She was arrested and charges of financial transaction card fraud. *More than three million Georgians are traveling for the holiday season. Triple-A says 3.4 million are expected to travel by car, making an increase of close to 2-percent from last year. Lower gas prices are contributing to the increase in car travel. GDOT is also warning the worst time to travel will be Monday and Tuesday between 3 and 7 p.m.
*Port Wentworth is approving an ordinance that will allow for data centers to be built in the city. Residents crowded a city council meeting to speak out against the ordinance saying it will add to traffic and would disrupt their communities. They also asked the council to hold the vote and not rush a decision. The council said the ordinance would only approve rule and regulations should a data center be built.
