Just a month after similar rallies across the country protesting the Trump administration, nokings.com plans hundreds more across the country next Saturday, including another in Gainesville.
The Gainesville “No Kings” rally will be held at Poultry Park 3:00-4:30 and is one of at least 23 expected to take place in Georgia. In our area, in addition to Gainesville, one is set for Suwanee.
“On October 18, millions of us are rising again to show the world: America has no kings, and the power belongs to the people,” the announcement on the group’s website says. “No Thrones. No Kings. No Crowns.”
